About the Project

Redpath is expanding operations at the Olympic Dam Mine in South Australia, with the development of 4th and 5th portals and new declines from surface. This is a rare opportunity to work on one of the largest uranium and copper mining operations in the world, on a long term project with strong growth potential.

We’re seeking experienced Underground Electricians to join our maintenance team, working with modern equipment in a safety focused, high performance environment that supports ongoing training and internal career progression.

The Role

  • Roster: 14 days on/14 days off (12 hour rotating shifts)
  • Location: Olympic Dam Mine, SA
  • Equipment: Jumbo's, Loaders, Agi trucks, Cable Bolters, Normet Shotcrete Rigs etc

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical work to a high standard in line with statutory requirements
  • Complete maintenance and repairs safely and efficiently
  • Fault finding, diagnostics, and component replacement
  • Identify, assess, and manage workplace risks
  • Contribute positively to a strong safety and team culture

About You

  • 5 years minimum experience in underground development mining
  • Current Electrical Licence
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • CPR & LVR certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Manual driver’s licence
  • Ability to pass a Police Check and Pre Employment Medical
  • Positive, proactive attitude aligned with Redpath’s motto:
